We try to keep pricing flat rate whenever possible. However each vehicle is different and can come with its unique set of challenges. Trouble shooting / diagnosing / or trying to work through mechanical or electrical problems is not included in the tuning price. If these situations arise, we will have a conversation about potential pricing changes so there are not any surprises.

 

Turnaround Time

With the email tuning option, I try to send revisions at the beginning and/or end of the day. Some days, I can send a handful of revisions, other days it may just be one, and in rare occasions I may not be able to send any. I try to get the email tunes knocked out as quick as possible, and as a result of that I only take on a limited amount of tunes at a time. If you are in a huge rush and need special assistance with turn around time, let me know BEFORE hand. Rush jobs will cost extra, as it will pull me away from work in my shop and/or family time.

Availability

The work at my actual facility is my first priority. Sometimes I get backed up with dyno work here, and I have to put a temporary hold on accepting new remote tuning jobs. I try to remain available for email tuning, however live tuning will be unavailable as shop work gets overly busy. I apologize for any inconveniences in advance.

 

Payments required before work begins

Unfortunately, I have burned out of thousands of dollars just this year alone by trusting people to do the right thing, and I cant do it anymore. Tons of people have gone above and beyond in that regard, but it only takes a few people to ruin it for everybody else. With that being said, I take payment for the service before we get started. If we run into a situation where there are additional costs, we will take care of those at the time of that discussion. If the vehicle appears to be too problematic to tune, scheduling conflicts, customers inability to provide proper information or perform needed tasks, or any other similar type of reason - I have the right to send a refund (partial or full) and to step back from tuning the vehicle. I want this to be as smooth and enjoyable of a tune as possible for BOTH of us. If I feel that I am not able to provide that to you, I will step back before we further waste any more time and/or money. Partial refunds will be based off of the amount of time spent up to that point. Obviously we want to avoid this situation if at all possible, so the more upfront and honest you are up front the better it will be for both of us.
